Learning Objectives

After the training you will be able
- to apply physical basics for interference-free wireless microphone technology,
- to plan and operate wireless system for each application,
- to understand the characteristics of wireless monitoring,
- to anticipate potential errors and avoid them,
- to understand the frequency regulations and
- to apply rules of thumb during the event 

Content

The trainings starts online with eLearning. You train at your own pace and in your own time at your computer and work through interactive exercises and videos. Feedback from your tutor, Peter Arasin, supports you. You may approach him directly and discuss complex issues with them.
Additionally, you may chat with the other participants and the tutor online in the course forum.
The course finishes with a hands-on workshop. Together with your tutor and the other attendees, you do practical exercises and also discuss current business challenges, for instance digital dividend. You meet the other participants and thus network within your industry.

Basics: Acoustics, decibel, wave propagation, signal transmission: mic selection, RF- components, RF-transmitter and receivers, antennas and accessories, frequency selection, rules of thumb

- Status new frequency allocation
- Selection criteria of clip-on microphones and application tips

Hands-on:
- Select and compare mics
- Antennae characteristics
- Setting up an eight channel system
- Setting up and testing a two channel wireless ear monitoring system
- Presentation of results
- Final discussion

Thetrailer will give you a brief overview of the course.
